Rosin is the gold standard of marijuana oil, it is created using only heat and pressure with fresh buds. Rosin is free of any toxic solvents or harsh chemicals. Rosin is also full spectrum meaning valuable cannabinoids and terpenes are not lost during extraction, this makes rosin more true to the plant, so if you eat or smoke Blue Dream Rosin, you should feel a similar high to smoking a Blue Dream joint. Think of it as eating a whole organic apple vs drinking apple juice from concentrate.

Distillate is the cheapest and most potent form of cannabis oil.

Distillate is created by stripping the THC off of plant material with CO2 (carbon dioxide, since CO2 is a organically occurring gas, distillate is also considered solvent-less.  As the name might suggest this oil is distilled with CO2 until a high potency, typically over 75% THC, is achieved. Distillate is the main oil used in vapes and cheaper edibles, because it is easily obtainable and can be created from plant waste like, sugar leaves, trim, shake,ECT.  The main drawback of distillate is it typically has very low to no terpenes unless they are reintroduced. This means you will typically get the same type of high no matter what distillate strain you are smoking. Some people describe a distillate high like an elevator that never reaches the top.

Edibles/Vapes made with Rosin VS Distillate.

The first thing people notice about rosin edibles or vapes is the price. Rosin products can be twice the price if not more than traditional edibles  or Vapes made with distillate, for technically the same amount of THC, so why pay more? As with anything you get what you pay for, and with rosin that is exceptionally true. When you eat a rosin infused gummy, you are not just eating a gummy with THC. You are eating a gummy with THC, terpenes, and other cannabinoids like CBD, CBC, CBG ECT. We call this the entourage effect and for most people 1 Rosin gummy can create a better effect than 2 or 3 distillate gummies.  The same thing can be said for Rosin Vapes. Vaping rosin can create a very clean high similar to a joint but in only one or two puffs.

Distillate products and be great if you want to get a buzz on a budget. It also has the highest THC% of any other oils on average, so it can be great to add to joints or other things.
